Two days ago, through the efforts of many activists, including our own, Ilya Yashin visited the refugee camp in Dronten and met with the Russians living there. You can already watch the report on TV Rain, and the results of the meeting were beautifully documented by our partners Volnitsa NL.
But today is about something else. On International Human Rights Day, we are launching a project that will be a real help for all Russian-speaking refugees in the Netherlands.
Our goal is to help every refugee to learn about their rights and how to legally assert them.
We are going to create:
📚 A detailed knowledge base about the asylum process: steps, regulatory deadlines, responsible institutions.
📝 Templates for problem-solving documents: from camp transfers to medical care to discrimination complaints.
🌐 A platform where all this information will be available to anyone.
The project is implemented by the team in partnership with Volnitsa NL and FAR Utrecht with the support of Anastasia Shevchenko from ACR.
📌 We will publish the first results already in December 2024.
