Fundraising for EcoFlow and generators to be sent to Ukraine is completed! ✨

Thank you all so much for participating. We received an overwhelming response and, as a result, we managed to raise €4,995 (from €5 to €500!). We added €5 to make it an even amount and transferred the money to the supplier.

We had a plan to buy 10 batteries (which cost around €3,000 in Ukraine and €2,100 in the Netherlands, but he managed to get them for €1,700). In the end, we are buying 16 batteries and two used industrial generators. All of this will be loaded into three cars and sent to Ukraine.

One of the systems will be deployed at a volunteer warehouse in Kyiv — it is in the private sector, there is a stove and a well, so 25 volunteers have now moved there, living on the floor but with water and relative warmth.

The rest will be sent to orphanages and nursing homes for elderly people, where we know people personally, and the aid will definitely reach the people. In this way, we as Soyka NL have made a modest contribution (3 ecoflows) to ensuring that dozens of people do not freeze to death.
