Help raise €5,347 for laptops and bicycles for displaced Ukrainians
Help us raise €5,347 by 21 November 2026 to provide laptops and bicycles for displaced Ukrainians in the Netherlands.
We have good news: RELX has awarded Soyka NL a US$12,000 grant. Our long-standing volunteer Anton K. applied for the grant and presented the project. Thank you, Anton! 💙
The grant comes with a community fundraising requirement: we need to contribute another US$6,000, stated as €5,347 in our campaign appeal. We launched this fundraiser on 22 October and are asking our community to help us reach that target by 21 November.
Laptops for study and work. Bicycles for everyday independence.
A working laptop makes it possible to study, apply for jobs and deal with everyday administration. A reliable bicycle can mean reaching work, school, shops or an appointment from a location with limited transport.
Over the past six months, our channel has continued to receive requests for equipment and transport alongside basic household and children’s supplies. These are practical things that help people regain control over their lives.
Through an arrangement with Allemaal Digitaal, we have been able to bring laptop costs down to around half the usual price. We are choosing affordable, reliable models so the available funding can go further. The project will also provide bicycles.
Why we are asking our community
Soyka has supported refugees and displaced people since 2022. The team working on this project is entirely made up of volunteers, and some of our supporters have been donating monthly since the beginning.
We believe in this community. We also know that times are difficult, and raising this amount is a real challenge. Any contribution helps us meet the community funding requirement and get useful equipment to people rebuilding their lives.
